A South Delhi mom’s curfew is like the international date line. It’s always two hours later than everyone else’s. If you see a kid walking back home after midnight, you can be sure they’re from South Delhi. Their mom will probably be waiting up for them with a glass of warm milk and a cookie.
A West Delhi wali mummy, on the other hand, is a stickler for curfew. If you’re not home by 10 PM, you can expect a phone call from her that will make your ears bleed. “Where are you? Why aren’t you home yet? Do you know what time it is?!”
Shopping
South Delhi moms and West Delhi wali mummies both love to shop, but they have very different approaches. A South Delhi mom will walk into a store and buy whatever she wants, regardless of the price. She’s not afraid to splurge on a designer bag or a pair of high-end shoes.
A West Delhi wali mummy, on the other hand, is a master bargainer. She will haggle over the price of everything, from a new dress to a loaf of bread. She’s not afraid to walk away from a deal if she doesn’t get the price she wants.
Food

P.S. Just to be clear, I’m not saying that one type of mom is better than the other. They’re both great in their own way. But it’s always fun to poke a little fun at the differences between them.
